Developed in the early 1800s by early childhood education pioneer Friedrich Fröebel, the Fröebel Gifts (“gabe” in German) are a series of simple toys and exercises which focus on geometric forms, colours and creativity. Gift 9 consists of thin wooden rings and semi-circles, each in three different sizes and a variety of colours. The pieces are 4 mm thick and come in a divided box with lid measuring 33 cm (about 13") square.
