The Numbered Spindle Box is a long wooden box with ten compartments numbered 0 through 9. This material is used for math games and counting exercises whereby the wooden spindles (or any other objects) are placed in the bins corresponding to their quantity. The large, black numbers are silk-screened directly onto the wood, which is finished in a silk-touch clear coat. The box measures approximately 50 cm x 20 cm x 7 cm and weight a little over 1 kg, making it easy for students to carry in the classroom. Also available with a set of 45 spindles as Numbered Spindle Box with Spindles. Learn more about how to use the Spindle Box at Montessori World and InfoMontessori.
