This set makes a fun introduction to fractions with the colourful and chunky wooden fruit pieces.  It includes a base tray with five different fruits in a whole, halves, thirds, quarters and fifths, as well as a play-safe knife for "cutting" the pieces.  Beneath each piece the written expression of the fraction is shown.  The base measures 21 cm (about 8.5") square.
