The Table of Pythagoras material extends the concepts of multiples and squaring in a very visual, interactive way. The set consists of wooden tiles in the traditional hierarchical colours from 1 to 10, including all of the multiples in between. For example, for the #3 tiles there is one 3 x 3 square, two 3 x 2 tiles and two 3 x 1 tiles. For the #5 tiles there is one 5 x 5 square, two 5 x 4, two 5 x 3 and so on. The tiles are 3 mm thick and made of warp-resistant MDF ply with durable painted finishes on one side and a natural finish on the back. With 100 pieces in total, the set is contained in a compartmented box with a lid measuring 32 cm x 29 cm (about 12.5" x 11").
