The Shape Tracker board promotes the development of muscle memory in the hands and arms in preparation for drawing, writing and other fine motor skills.  The board consists of a hard beechwood frame with four common shapes in the centre: a line, circle, square, and triangle.  Wooden knobs are fitted in the track of each shape, allowing the child to freely move them in either direction and gain a feeling for how each shape is created through the movement of their hand and arm.  The board measures 31 cm (about 12") square.
