Wood Recorder

The recorder is a simple wooden flute-like instrument, but is much easier to hold and play than a traditional flute.  This model is a standard size, measuring 33 cm (13 inches) long, with seven finger holes on the front and one thumb hole on the back.  The recorder is an excellent beginner instrument as it is compact, lightweight, easy to hold, and does not require any special technique to make sound; just blow!  Musical instruments help to develop fine motor skills and coordination, as well as listening skills and creativity.  Please note that this recorder does not come with any instruction materials, however you can easily find a wealth of free instructional videos on YouTube and elsewhere online.
