This instrument makes a bright and fun ratchet sound when you spin it. Made entirely of sustainably-harvested rubberwood, it is finished with a non-toxic, water-based clear coat and paint which are safe for mouth contact. The ratchet measures 14 cm (about 5.5 cm) long. Musical instruments are excellent for the development of physical coordination, motor skills, sensory processing and a sense of rhythm.
