This set of six microscope slides has four samples on each, for a total of twenty-four samples in all.  They include:

• Animals (goldfish scale, hare hair, camel hair, feather fowl point)
• Plants (pine wood, camellia leaf section, bamboo shoot, sponge gourd)
• Insects (butterfly leg, butterfly wing, locust wing, bee leg)
• Textile fibres (hemp fibre, silk stuff, cotton fibre, bemberg)
• Tiny Creatures (plant louse, fruit fly, shrimp egg, silk worm larva)
• Pollen & Spores (lily pollen, sunflower pollen, bottle brush spore, fern spore)

Each slide is made of plastic, and is clearly labeled and colour-coded.
