This classic sorting activity includes a sturdy wooden box and six wood blocks in three colours (two each of red cylinders, blue cubes, and green triangular prisms).  The box has a removable lid for inserting the shapes, as well as handle holes on two sides for easy carrying and manipulation.  This activity promotes recognition of shapes and colours, sorting by shapes and colours, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination.
