Description

The Metal Squares Insets is an alternate approach to teaching fractions by demonstrating the division of a square rather than a circle, as with our Fraction Insets. The set consists of nine green metal frames with red inset pieces including a whole square and two each of halves, quarters, eighths and sixteenths. Each of the divided frames are presented in square and triangle shapes. The frames measure 14 cm square (about 5.5 inches), and the inset pieces have a good-sized knob for easy grasping. This set does not include any stands.
