The Decimal Checkerboard features a felt-covered surface to keep beads from rolling around, as well as a raised border to keep pieces contained.  The board has markings from 1 up to 1,000,000 on two sides, and from 1 down to 0.000001 on the other two sides.  The board measures 60 cm square.
